Water excursions

From spring until late autumn you can enjoy the wonderful water world of Szigetköz. Our receptionists will help you with pleasure to work out either individual excursions or trips for groups. During these water trips you can drive along the river branches of the Danube from Rajka to Mosonmagyaróvár (this trip takes about 5 hours).

If you want to row accompanied by an experienced tourist guide, we can organise that for you. The rate of the guide is 500 Ft/hour. We would like to ask you to inform us about your request on this matter 24 hours in advance!

Bicycle tours

It is a tremendous experience to discover the environment of Szigetköz by bicycle, which is possible all the year round. At the reception of our hotel you can rent woman’s and man’s bicycle, and of course crash helmets, safety waistcoats and maps, as well.

Horse riding

For the lovers of riding we can provide at the Szelle riding stable the possibility to enjoy your hobby, www.szellelovasudvar.hu. We can also offer cross-country riding, or for beginners riding with a riding instructor. For experienced riders cross country riding is a wonderful possibility to discover the beauty of Szigetköz.

The necessary riding equipment is provided by the riding school!

Price: 60 minutes / 10 €, the price includes the fee of the riding instructor, each additional hour costs 10 €.

Fishing

Szigetköz is a paradise for anglers. Our employees help you to find the right fishing place.

Angling possibilities and conditions:

Conditions:
- Our patients should have a valid fishing licence for the given country, which is a prerequisite for the legitimate angling.
- The take out of the national fishing ticket is compulsory, which fee is 1,000 Ft.

Fishing possibilities and take out of the licence (Danube, River Lajta-Mosonmagyaróvár):
- Price for the fishing ticket valid for the whole county: 7,600 HUF
- Price of the daily ticket: 1,100 HUF

Excluded from the above mentioned is the protected section of the Zátonyi Danube, for which the national ticket is compulsory as well (1,000 HUF).
- Price of the weekly ticket: 4,500 HUF
- Price of the daily ticket: 2,000 HUF

You can purchase the fishing ticket at the office of the Tourinform Mosonmagyaróvár (Tel: +36-96/206-304).

Further fishing possibilities are provided at the fishing lakes in Szigetköz, which can be used without any licenses.

We provide our guests the possibility to play tennis, either as beginners or as advanced tennis players.
